It is suitable for measuring the impact mass and energy when 50% of the plastic film or sheet samples with a thickness of less than 1mm are damaged under the impact of a free-falling dart from a given height.
Product Description:
Applicable to plastic films or sheets with a thickness of less than 1mm, under the impact of a free-falling dart at a given height, to measure the impact mass and energy when 50% of the plastic film or sheet samples are broken.
Working principle: At the beginning of the test, first select the test method, estimate an initial mass and Δm value, and conduct the test. If the first sample is broken, use the weight Δm to reduce the mass of the falling body; if the first one is not broken, the weight Δm must be used to increase the mass of the falling body and conduct the test accordingly. In short, using the weight to reduce or increase the mass of the falling body depends on whether the previous sample is broken. After testing 20 samples, calculate the total number of broken samples N. If N is equal to 10, the test is completed; if N is less than 10, after supplementing the sample, continue the test until N is equal to 10; if N is greater than 10, after supplementing the sample, continue the test until the total number of unbroken samples is equal to 10, and finally the system automatically calculates the impact result.
