Nowadays, new polymer synthesis technologies are constantly emerging, new polymer materials are emerging in an endless stream, and the performance requirements are getting higher and higher. 

So what are the main performance tests for polymer materials?


Performance of polymer materials

Tests related to physical and mechanical properties: density, water absorption, viscosity (viscosity), stretching, bending, compression, tearing, shearing, impact, hardness, wear resistance, peeling, fatigue resistance, etc.

Tests related to thermal properties: melt flow rate, Vicat, thermal deformation, ash content, volatile matter, glass transition temperature, melting point, thermal weight loss, thermal expansion coefficient, brittle temperature, specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity, etc.
